What you’ll see / what happens
- The local school at Kawaza has around 10 classrooms, is run by 7 teachers, and serves over 1,000 pupils
- Visitors may join part of an assembly or a class (if term time) and will be introduced to the headmaster (often named in sources as Felix Maunga).
- There is an opportunity for interaction: chatting with pupils, possibly helping in a classroom in an informal sense.
- The school is a central part of the village tourism project — income from tours helps supply textbooks, support infrastructure.
